Cyprus-born pianist Mirana is also composer, accompanist, teacher based in the United Kingdom.
As an Award-winning pianist Mirana performs as soloist and chamber musician. She made her debut performance at The Cyprus Music Institute and Ledra Music Soloists.
Some of her praiseworthy performances comprise appearances at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, Hong Kong City Hall and Leeds College of Music. She is fundamentally Romantic Pianist. However, her repertoire encompasses great classics and innovative new works such as extended piano and pieces from modern artists.
Mirana believes that classical musicians have to go beyond note. She is well known for her emotional interpretations of ‘works’. During her travels, Mirana has explored the melodies and rhythms of many ethnic groups, try to integrate rich and varied musical heritages into her own pieces.
Mirana graduated from the Department of Music (University of Nicosia/Cyprus) and gained a BA in Classical Piano Performance. Then she went to Leeds College of Music with grant and completed her Postgraduate MMus Creative Performance Degree.
